Sentora has launched the first externally curated markets on Aave V4, giving users three new markets on Ethereum where they can borrow RLUSD, PYUSD, and OUSD against yield-bearing and bluechip collateral. Sentora curates the markets and manages their risk, and they run on the same V4 codebase as every other Aave market.
Who is Sentora?
Sentora is a DeFi platform for institutions that combines strategy design, risk management, and coverage in one system. It has allocated more than $2 billion across onchain strategies, and more than 1,000 risk models are built into each strategy it runs.
Why Aave V4?
Aave V4 is built around a Hub and Spoke architecture, where Liquidity Hubs hold deposits and Spokes are the markets that allow users to borrow from those Hubs, each with its own collateral and risk rules. External curation lets independent risk managers like Sentora run their own Hub and markets on V4, choosing the collateral and other parameters while building on Aave’s audited infrastructure.
Every curated Hub operates within safeguards set by Aave governance. Aave DAO retains ownership of the contracts, every risk-increasing change passes through a 48-hour timelock, and new assets go through Aave governance review before they are listed.
Markets Overview
Sentora operates a dedicated Liquidity Hub on Ethereum that currently supports three markets. In the RLUSD Yield market, users can borrow RLUSD against USDe, PRIME, mWIN, and PST, and the OUSD Yield market lets users borrow OUSD against the same four assets. The Bluechip market lets users borrow RLUSD, PYUSD, or OUSD against kBTC.
